Huawei Ascend G620 Review

Huawei Ascend G620 is a nice device, packed with a comfortable 5 inches touch-screen, a high-tech Quad-Core CPU clocking at 1.2 GHz, and 2 cameras, a 5 megapixels back-facing camera and a 0.3 megapixels front side camera. Great! That's it? Not at all, it's only the introduction of this in-depth review.

This cellphone is only 5.63" long and 2.85" wide, but it manages to hold a 5" display. This cellphone is incredibly thin and comfortable, with a thickness of just 0.31". This cellphone is sold in two different color options, black and white. It appears that Huawei forgot about optimizing the weight in this 6 oz cellphone.

This phone is equipped with a very good 960 x 540 5" screen, which makes everything look beautiful.

Huawei decided to power this device with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 8926 chip, packing a high performance 1200 megahertz Quad-Core processor with only 1 GB of RAM memory which is a bit poor for such a good phone. Graphic intensive apps and games generally consume lots of processing power, so it uses an Adreno 305 graphics processing unit running at 450 megahertz to unload the CPU. This device comes with a decent 4 GB internal storage memory, which could be a little bit small knowing that this phone doesn't count with an external memory card slot to store more apps and games, songs, pictures, videos.

The Huawei Ascend G620 has Wi-Fi connection (although it can't be provided to other devices around, acting as a hotspot) and the fastest 3G data connection, over HSPA, HSUPA and EDGE technologies. This cellphone uses a SIM card for GSM carriers.

The Huawei Ascend G620 features two cameras, a 5 mega-pixels back side camera and a 0.3 MP front-facing camera. In addition, this cellphone's camera also features a few useful characteristics like auto-focus, flash, face detection shooting and fast burst mode.

This phone uses a 2000 mAh mid capacity removable battery that provides the Huawei Ascend G620 a poor battery duration.

This cellphone is really overpriced considering it costs $ 249, and other similar phones cost a lot less than that.
