Huawei U8150 Ideos Review

Huawei U8150 Ideos is a mid level Android cellphone, equipped with a fast processor running at 528 megahertz, a compact 2.8" display and a 3.2 megapixels back side camera.

Although the Huawei U8150 Ideos has 4.1 inches long, it only contains a way smaller 2.8" screen. It seems like Huawei didn't care so much about the weight in this 3.6 oz phone.

This phone is equipped with a fast CPU ticking at 528 megahertz, included in the Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 MSM7225 chip and as little as 256 MB RAM.

This cellphone is only equipped with a 3.2 megapixels back-facing camera. This camera also has auto-focus.

This cellphone is equipped with an average 320 x 240 (QVGA) 2.8 inches display, which makes all pictures and videos look quite nice. This display uses TFT capacitive technology, but it doesn't allow multi-touch gestures.

This phone features a 1200 mAh small sized Li-Ion replaceable battery providing this cellphone with a not very long battery life. This cellphone has an estimated stand by time of 288 hours and a talk time of 9 hs.

The Huawei U8150 Ideos includes wi-fi connection (but it can't be provided to other devices as a mobile hotspot) and the fastest 3G connection type, supported by HSDPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone uses a SIM card for GSM carriers.

This phone also features some cool characteristics as Bluetooth (provides communication with other devices, computers, and accessories), GPS (Global Positioning System) and Radio, and some sensors likeLight Sensor, Proximity Sensor and Accelerometer.

This phone is not a very good choice considering it is sold for 105 dollars, while other similar devices cost much less than that.
