Kyocera Zio M6000 Review
Score: 39.3 / 100Kyocera Zio M6000 is a quite basic Android cellphone released some years ago, in 2010, featuring a powerful CPU speeding at 600 megahertz, a 3.2 mega-pixels back facing camera and a 3.5 inches screen.
Kyocera decided to sell this cellphone with a fast processing unit speeding at 600 MHz, bundled in a Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 MSM7627 chip. Collaborating with graphic intensive apps and games, it also uses an Adreno 200 GPU working at 128 megahertz.
It appears that Kyocera forgot about weight optimization in this 3.7 ounces phone.
The Kyocera Zio M6000 is only equipped with a 3.2 mega-pixels back facing camera. It can also capture videos in 640x480 (VGA) at 24 frames per second. In addition, the camera has auto-focus.
This phone is equipped with a very good 800 x 480 3.5" display, giving this cellphone a very good graphical experience. This display uses TFT capacitive technology, but it's not multi-touch.
This cellphone has wi-fi connection (but it can't provide it to other devices around, acting as a mobile hotspot) and 3G connectivity, over EV-DO A technologies. This cellphone doesn't have a SIM card, because it doesn't support GSM connections and it works with CDMA networks.
This cellphone also features a couple nice features as Bluetooth (2.0, EDR) and GPS Localization, and some sensors likeLight Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
This phone counts with a 1130 mAh low capacity Li-Ion removable battery that provides this phone a quite short battery life. According to Kyocera, the Kyocera Zio M6000 has an aproximate 432 hs stand by time and a 6 hours talk time.
This phone costs about 249 dollars, which is not a good offer for comparing with similar phones.
