Lenovo P70 Review

Lenovo P70 is an amazing Android device, having a quite big 5 inches multi-touch display, a high-tech 64 bit Octa-Core CPU running at 1.7 gigahertz, and 2 cameras, a 13 MP back camera and a 5 MP front camera. Great! That's it? Not at all, it's only the beginning of a detailed review.

The Lenovo P70 is just available in blue color. Being just 0.35" thick,the Lenovo P70 is very thin and practical. Although the Lenovo P70 just has 5.59 inches long, it is still able to fit a a 5 inches display. Lenovo made an excellent optimization job making this phone weight only 5.26 oz.

Lenovo equipped this cellphone with a MediaTek MT6752 system chip, packing a great 64 bits Octa-Core CPU running at 1.7 GHz with a huge 2 GB RAM memory. To help with graphic intensive apps and games, this phone also counts with a 416 megahertz ARM Mali-T760 MP2 graphics processing unit. A nice advantage of the Lenovo P70 is its 16 GB quite big internal storage memory and an SD memory card expansion slot, which allows the user to install hundreds of games and applications without any trouble.

This phone is equipped with a good looking 1280 x 720 (HD) 5 inches display, which makes everything look vivid. Its display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.

This cellphone offers wifi connection (which it can provide to other devices around, acting as a wireless modem or router), 4G (LTE) high performance data connection and the fastest 3G connectivity, supported by HSPA, HSUPA and EDGE technologies. This phone has dual sim so it can to work with two different phone lines and even different carriers at the same time.

The Lenovo P70 has two cameras, a 13 mega-pixels back side camera and a 5 MP front-facing camera. Additionally, the camera counts with some good characteristics: auto-focus, flash, face detection shooting and geo tagging.

The Lenovo P70 also features a couple of nice characteristics as Bluetooth (provides communication with other bluetooth phones and accessories), GPS Geolocation and FM Radio, and a few sensors likeLight Sensor, Proximity Sensor and Accelerometer.

This phone packs a great 4000 mAh Li-Polymer non-replaceable battery that can keep this phone running for many hours and even reach the end of the day without having to charge it. This phone has a reported talk time of 46 hours and a stand by time of 816 hs according to Lenovo. An issue to evaluate is that the Lenovo P70's battery is non-replaceable so you can't buy a new battery when it begins to have trouble holding its charge, although with this big battery you will probably replace this phone before it becomes an issue.

This device is not very cheap considering it is sold for 2576 dollars, while other similar phones cost much less than that. If you need a device for playing games, you love taking photographs, want a social phone or want a cellphone for work, this cellphone is probably a great option for you.
