LG GT505 Review

LG GT505 is a quite basic cellphone launched back in the year 2009, which counts with a quite powerful processing unit clocking at megahertz, a small sized 3" display and a 5 megapixels back facing camera.

LG equipped the LG GT505 with a quite powerful CPU ticking at MHz with as little as 128 MB of RAM memory. This phone comes with a poor 51,2 MB internal storage memory, which might be adequate for basic users knowing that this device also has a slot for an external memory card to store pictures and videos and even some apps that allow being installed in the external memory.

This phone feels a bit heavy comparing with today standards, with a weight of 3.46 oz. Even though this device has 4.21" long, it only packs a way smaller 3" screen.

LG packed this phone with an average 3" display, and a resolution of 400 x 240 , which makes all photos and movies look quite colorful and brightful. Its display uses TFT resistive technology, but it can't detect multi touch gestures.

The LG GT505 provides WiFi capability (but it can't be provided to other devices acting as a hotspot) and the fastest 3G connectivity, over HSDPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The LG GT505 uses a SIM card to connect to GSM networks.

This cellphone only has a 5 mega-pixels back-facing camera. Additionally, this phone's camera also features flash.

This phone also includes a couple of nice features as Bluetooth (2.0, EDR), GPS and Radio, and Accelerometer.

The LG GT505 packs a 1000 mAh small Li-Ion battery, which is quite low for a thirsty cellphone like this. LG claims this phone has a 3.3 hours talk time and a 350 hours stand by time.

LG offers this cellphone for 129 dollars, which is not cheap for this type of phone.
