LG Lancet Review

LG Lancet is a little outdated device, having a fast 1200 megahertz processor, a medium 4.5-inches screen, an 8 MP back camera and a 0.3 MP front facing camera.

This phone feels a bit heavy for a device of this size, weighting 5.05 ounces. About its construction quality, this phone is majorly made with plastic. While this phone is very slim and comfortable it's not so slim as many other cellphones on sale, with a thickness of 0.42 inches. The LG Lancet is just 5.11 inches long, but it still manages to hold a 4.5" screen.

LG decided to power this phone using a fast 1.2 gigahertz processing unit, bundled in the Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 8916 system chip and 1 GB RAM. A nice advantage of this cellphone is its quite large 8 GB internal memory and an external memory slot, enough to store hundreds of apps without running out of space.

LG packed this device with a nice 4.5" display, and a 854 x 480 resolution, which makes all photos and movies look very good. This display uses LCD capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch for gestures like pinch and zoom.

The LG Lancet has wifi connection (which it can provide to other devices acting as a wireless router or modem), 4G LTE fast data connection and fast 3G internet connection, using HSPA and HSUPA technologies. This phone doesn't have a SIM card, because it's not a GSM phone.

This phone has two cameras, an 8 mega-pixels back camera and a 0.3 megapixels front facing camera. It can also film videos up to 1920x1080 (Full HD). In addition, the camera includes a couple of good features like flash, auto-focus, geo tagging and face detection shooting.

This cellphone also comes with a handful of cool characteristics like Bluetooth (provides communication with other cellphones and accessories) and GPS (Global Positioning System), and some sensors likeLight Sensor, Proximity Sensor and Accelerometer.

This cellphone counts with a 2100 mAh incredible Li - Ion battery that can keep it running for many hours, although you may need to charge it after some heavy use. LG informs a talk time of 18.5 hs and a stand by time of 420 hs for this phone.

This device is really overvalued considering it costs 249 dollars, and other similar phones cost a lot less than that. If you are looking for a device for playing games or want this cellphone mostly for social networks and internet browsing, you will probably be very pleased with this cellphone.
