LG Optimus G Pro Review

LG Optimus G Pro is a very high quality Android cellphone launched back in 2013, which features a big size 5.5" multi touch display, an extremely powerful 1700 MHz Quad-Core CPU, a 13 megapixels back side camera and a 2.1 megapixels front side camera.

LG decided to power this cellphone using an extremely powerful 1.7 GHz Quad-Core processor, included in a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 APQ8064T system chip and a great 2 GB RAM memory. To collaborate with graphic rendering, this phone also counts with an Adreno 320 graphics processing unit clocking at 400 MHz. This phone has a 32 GB large internal memory and a slot for an SD memory card, which allows you to store lots of apps, games, pictures and videos without thinking about running out of space.

This cellphone just has 5.91 inches long and 3" wide, but it's still able to fit a a 5.5 inches screen. Being just 0.37 inches thick,the LG Optimus G Pro is very thin and good-looking. This cellphone is much lighter than what one would expect from a device like this.

LG designed this phone with a great 5.5" display, and a resolution of 1920 x 1080 (Full HD), providing this cellphone with a perfect graphic quality. Its display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and has multi-touch detection.

The LG Optimus G Pro provides wifi connectivity (and it can share it with other devices acting as a modem or router), 4G (LTE) high performance connection type and also HSPA+ data connection, which is a bit slower 4G variation and 3G fast connectivity, using HSDPA, HSUPA and EDGE technologies. This phone works with a Micro SIM card to connect to GSM networks.

This cellphone is equipped with two cameras, a 13 MP back side camera and a 2.1 MP front camera. Although it's 13 mega-pixels might appear incredible the back side camera sensor size is quite small it takes darker photographs than it should. It is capable of filming videos in 1920x1080 (Full HD). In addition, the camera has flash and auto-focus.

This phone comes with a 3140 mAh long lasting Li-Ion replaceable battery providing this phone an impressive battery life. LG informs a 15.5 hours talk time and a 576 hours stand by time for this cellphone.

The LG Optimus G Pro also features a lot of great characteristics like NFC (to trigger actions, transfer data or make payments by holding your phone close to another NFC device or tag), Infrared Transmitter, Bluetooth and GPS Navigation, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

LG sells this device for $ 405, which is not cheap for comparing with other similar devices. The LG Optimus G Pro is probably a great option it doesn't matter whether you want this phone for work, will use this cellphone majorly for social networks, want this device to take lots of photographs or want a cellphone to play games.
