LG Transpyre Review

LG Transpyre is a quite good cellphone, packing a Quad-Core processor speeding at 1200 MHz, a 4.5 inches screen, and 2 cameras, a 5 MP back facing camera and a 1.3 megapixels front side camera. Let's take a deeper look at what this phone offers to us.

LG equipped the LG Transpyre with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 8916 chip, backed up by an exceptional Quad-Core processor ticking at 1.2 gigahertz and only 1 GB of RAM which is a bit poor for such a great phone. Collaborating with graphic rendering, it also counts with an Adreno 306 graphic processing unit ticking at 450 MHz. An interesting aspect of the LG Transpyre is the 8 GB quite big internal storage and an SD memory card expansion slot, allowing the user to store a couple hundred apps without any trouble.

Though this cellphone is thin and comfortable it's not so thin as many other phones you can find, with a thickness of 0.42 inches. While this device is only 5.02" long, it is able to fit a a 4.5" display. It seems like LG didn't care about the weight in this 5 oz cellphone.

The LG Transpyre has a good looking 800 x 480 4.5 inches screen, giving this device a good image quality. Its screen uses LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.

This cellphone is equipped with two cameras, a 5 megapixels back facing camera and a 1.3 MP front facing camera. It also captures Full HD 1920x1080 videos. Additionally, this cellphone's camera also counts with a couple of good characteristics: auto-focus, flash, face detection shooting, smile detection shooting and geo tagging.

This phone packs a great 2100 mAh battery, which isn't very promising for a device like this. LG informs a talk time of 11 hs and a stand by time of 264 hours for this phone.

This phone features Wi-Fi connectivity (and it can be shared with other devices around, acting as a wireless modem or router), LTE (4G) high speed internet connection and 3G connectivity, over EV-DO A technologies. This cellphone doesn't use a sim card, because it doesn't work with GSM services and it works in CDMA carriers.

This cellphone also includes a couple of useful features like Bluetooth (provides communication with other bluetooth phones, computers and accessories) and GPS Geolocation, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This cellphone costs about 249 dollars, not a really offer for this kind of device. No matter if you need a device to mostly use social networks, will use it to play games or need a work cellphone, this phone is a great choice for you.
