LG TRIBUTE Review

LG TRIBUTE is a little outdated Android phone, which counts with a medium 4.5" screen, an exceptional Quad-Core processor clocking at 1200 MHz, a 5 MP back camera and a 0.3 megapixels front-facing camera. But it's time to get into more details.

Although the LG TRIBUTE is only 5.02" long, it manages to pack a 4.5" display. This phone's thickness of 0.42" is a little bit far from current standards, but it still feels fine in the hand. Apparently LG forgot about weight optimization in this 4.9 ounces cellphone.

LG designed this phone with a interesting 4.5" screen, and a resolution of 800 x 480 , which makes everything look very nice. Its screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and is multi-touch enabled.

LG sells the LG TRIBUTE with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 Series MSM8926 chip, including a great 1.2 gigahertz Quad-Core processor with only 1 GB RAM which is a bit disappointing for a phone of this level. To handle graphic calculations, the LG TRIBUTE also uses an Adreno 305 GPU clocking at 450 megahertz. This cellphone comes with areasonable 4 GB internal storage, which is adequate for most users considering that it also has a slot for an external memory card .

The LG TRIBUTE provides WiFi connectivity (and it can be shared with other devices as a mobile hotspot) and 4G LTE fast connection type. This phone works with a Micro SIM card to use GSM services and it can connect to CDMA carriers.

This device has two cameras, a 5 mega-pixels back facing camera and a 0.3 MP front facing camera. It also films Full HD 1920x1080 videos. To complete the camera, it also features some interesting characteristics: auto-focus, flash, smile detection shooting and geo tagging.

This phone also comes with some interesting features such as Bluetooth (4.0) and GPS Navigation, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

The LG TRIBUTE uses a 2100 mAh high capacity Li-Ion removable battery, which isn't very much for a cellphone like this.

LG is offering the LG TRIBUTE for $ 100, which is a quite high price for this kind of cellphone. This cellphone is probably the correct option for you it doesn't matter whether you want a device for gaming or want a social device.
