Micromax Canvas Knight Review

Micromax Canvas Knight is a good quality phone, provisioned with an extremely fast Octa-Core CPU speeding at 1.7 GHz, a pretty big 5 inches touch-screen, and two cameras, a 16 megapixels back side camera and an 8 mega-pixels front side camera.

Whereas this phone is only 0" long and 0" wide, it is able to fit a a 5" screen. Micromax offers this cellphone in black and white.

This device includes a beautiful 5-inches screen with a 1920 x 1080 (Full HD) resolution, which makes all images and videos look brightful and colorful. Its screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multi touch gestures.

Micromax decided to build this cellphone with an extremely powerful 1.7 GHz Octa-Core processing unit, bundled in the MediaTek MT6592T chip and a large 2 GB of RAM memory. Helping with graphic calculations, this device also has an ARM Mali-450 MP4 graphic processing unit clocking at 700 megahertz. A nice aspect of this phone is its 25 GB quite large internal memory and though it doesn't count with a slot for external memory cards, it should be enough to install a couple hundred apps, although it probably wouldn't be suitable if you are planning to install some of the heaviest games currently available.

The Micromax Canvas Knight is equipped with two cameras, a 16 megapixels back-facing camera and an 8 mega-pixels front camera. It is also able to film Full HD 1920x1080 videos. The camera also has a couple of nice features like auto-focus, flash, face detection shooting and geo tagging.

This phone uses a high capacity 2350 mAh Li-Ion non-replaceable battery that can keep it running for several hours, but you may need to charge it after some heavy use. Micromax afirms this cellphone has a 7.5 hs talk time and a 175 hs stand by time. An issue to take into consideration is that this cellphone's battery is non-replaceable so you can't throw it away and buy a new one when it starts to live shorter, while with this big battery you will probably replace this phone before it becomes an issue.

This cellphone provides wifi connectivity (which can be provided to other devices as a mobile hotspot) and the fastest 3G internet connection, using HSPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This device works with a Micro SIM card to use GSM services.

This cellphone also includes some useful features as Bluetooth, GPS Localization and FM Radio, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This cellphone is not a good choice considering it is offerred for $ 249, and other similar devices are a lot cheaper than that. This cellphone is the right choice for you no matter if you are looking for a social cellphone or want a phone for playing games.
