Motorola Moto G (2014) Review

Motorola Moto G (2014) is a high-end cellphone released in 2014, counting with a high-tech 1200 MHz Quad-Core processor, a pretty big 5-inches touch-screen, and 2 cameras, an 8 MP back side camera and a 2 megapixels front camera.

Motorola made a really good job making the weight only 5.26 ounces. This cellphone is offerred in two color options, black and white. Even though this cellphone is only 5.57 inches long and 2.78 inches wide, it's still able to fit a a 5 inches screen. Whereas this phone is quite thin it's not so thin as many other cellphones nowadays, with a thickness of 0.43 inches.

Motorola equipped the with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chip, including a high-tech Quad-Core processor running at 1.2 GHz with only 1 GB of RAM which is a little bit low for such a good phone. Helping with graphic intensive games and apps, the also has an Adreno 305 GPU speeding at 450 MHz. A nice point of this cellphone is its quite big 8 GB internal storage memory and a slot for SD memory cards, allowing you to store hundreds of applications without any problem.

The has a good looking 5-inches screen with a 1280 x 720 (HD) resolution, which makes it hard to see the pixels in the screen. This screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.

This phone is equipped with two cameras, an 8 MP back facing camera and a 2 mega-pixels front camera. This phone can also capture videos in 1280x720 (HD) at 30 frames per second. In addition, this cellphone's camera also has a lot of valuable features: flash, fast burst mode, auto-focus, face detection shooting, geo tagging and HDR mode.

This phone provides wifi connectivity (although it can't share it with other devices around, acting as a wireless router or modem), HSPA+ (4G) connection type, that is not as fast as LTE networks and fast 3G connectivity, supported by HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The Motorola Moto G (2014) uses a SIM card for GSM networks.

This cellphone features an amazing 2070 mAh battery that can keep this device running for several hours, although you may need to charge it if you use it too much.

This cellphone also includes a great numbre of cool characteristics as Bluetooth (4.0), GPS Navigation, FM Radio and Digital TV, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

The is not very convinient considering it costs 215 dollars, and other similar phones cost much less than that. This phone is probably the right choice if you want a cellphone for gaming, you love taking pictures, want a phone to majorly use social networks or will use it as a work cellphone.
