Motorola Moto X Review

Motorola Moto X is a great Android phone launched back in the year 2013, with an exceptional 1700 MHz Dual-Core CPU, a 4.7-inches multi touch display, and 2 cameras, a 10 megapixels back-facing camera and a 2 mega-pixels front-facing camera.

Motorola decided to equip this phone using a very fast Dual-Core CPU clocking at 1700 megahertz, included in the Motorola X8 (Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro MSM8960) chip with a large 2 GB RAM memory. Graphic rendering usually eats lots of processing time, so it counts with an extra 400 megahertz Adreno 320 graphic processing unit to help handle those graphic tasks. A good point of this device is the 16 GB quite big internal memory and even though it doesn't count with an SD card slot, it should be enough to store hundreds of applications and games, but it might not be enough if you are fan of the largest games available nowadays.

Motorola sells this cellphone in a nice range of color options like black, brown, green, blue, red and white. Though this phone is only 5.09" long, it's able to fit a a 4.7 inches screen. This cellphone is quite thin and practical, even though it's not close to being one of the thinnest cellphones on sale, with a thickness of 0.41 inches. This cellphone feels a bit heavy for a phone of this size, with a weight of 4.59 ounces.

The includes a great 1280 x 720 (HD) 4.7" display, which makes all images and videos look perfect. This display uses AMOLED capacitive technology, and is multi-touch enabled.

This device counts with Wi-Fi capability (which it can share with other devices around, as a mobile hotspot), LTE (4G) fast internet connection and also HSPA+ internet connection, a bit slower 4G network and the fastest 3G internet connection, over HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone works with a Nano SIM card for GSM carriers and it can work with both CDMA and GSM networks.

This phone features two cameras, a 10 MP back side camera and a 2 megapixels front facing camera. It is also able to capture videos in Full HD 1920x1080 at 60 frames per second. To complete the camera, it also has some good features like flash, HDR mode, auto-focus and geo tagging.

The packs a 2200 mAh great non-replaceable battery that can keep this cellphone running for many hours, but you may need to charge it if you use it heavily. Motorola afirms this phone has a stand by time of 240 hours and a talk time of 13 hs. An issue to take into account is that this phone's battery is non-removable so you can't buy a new battery when it begins losing capacity, even though having 2200 mAh you will probably buy a new cellphone before it happens.

This phone also comes with a few interesting features like Near Field Communication (NFC), Bluetooth and GPS Geolocation, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Barometer and Compass.

Motorola is selling this cellphone for $ 185, which is a rather high price for comparing with other similar phones.
