Motorola Moto X Review

Motorola Moto X is a top-notch cellphone launched many years ago, packed with a 4.7-inches display, a great 1700 megahertz Dual-Core CPU, a 10 megapixels back-facing camera and a 2 mega-pixels front-facing camera.

Motorola decided to power this phone with a Motorola X8 (Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro MSM8960) system chip, which holds a high performance 1700 megahertz Dual-Core processor and a great 2 GB of RAM. Graphic rendering generally uses lots of CPU time, so it uses an Adreno 320 graphics processing unit ticking at 400 MHz to take care of them, leaving the processor free for other tasks. This cellphone counts with a 64 GB amazing internal storage memory and while it doesn't count with an SD extension slot, it is still enough to install tons of apps, games, photos and videos without worrying about running out of space at all.

This phone's thickness (0.41 inches) is a little bit far from nowadays standards, but it still feels quite fine in the hand. This phone is quite a compact cellphone, taking into account that it packs a 4.7 inches display and it only has 5.09 inches long and 2.57 inches wide. The Motorola Moto X uses a Nano SIM card for GSM networks and it can work with both GSM and CDMA.

This cellphone also includes a few interesting characteristics such as NFC, Bluetooth (for communication with other bluetooth phones and accessories) and GPS, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Barometer and Compass.

This cellphone comes with a 2200 mAh amazing non-replaceable battery, which isn't very much for a cellphone like this. According to Motorola, this cellphone has an aproximate 13 hours talk time and a 240 hours stand by time. An issue to evaluate is that this cellphone's battery is non-replaceable so you can't throw it away and buy a new one when it starts to lose capacity, although having 2200 mAh you will probably replace this cellphone before it becomes a real problem.

This device may not be such a good choice considering it is priced $ 165, and many similar devices are sold for a bit less than that.
