Nokia C2-01 Review

Nokia C2-01 is a not very powerful phone launched many years ago, counting with a 3.2 mega-pixels back facing camera and a compact 2 inches screen. Great! That's it? Not at all, it's only the starting point of this in-depth review.

This cellphone is 4.32 inches long and 1.85" wide, but it's only able to hold a smaller 2" screen. The Nokia C2-01 is quite thick for current standards, being as thick as 0.6". Nokia didn't seem to put much effort to reduce weight in this 3.14 ounces cellphone. Nokia is offering this phone in three color options: black, white and gray.

Graphic intensive apps and games generally eats lots of CPU time, so this phone counts with an ARM Mali-400 MP1 GPU working at 320 MHz to take care of them, leaving the CPU free for other tasks. This phone has a 47,1 MB internal storage memory, a mediocre amount that could be adequate for some users knowing that this cellphone also has a slot for external memory cards to store photos and videos.

This phone only features a 3.2 megapixels back-facing camera. This device also shoots videos in 320x240 (QVGA) at 15 frames per second.

This phone offers 3G connectivity, using UMTS and EDGE technologies. This cellphone uses a SIM card for GSM carriers.

This cellphone features a low capacity 1020 mAh Li-Ion replaceable battery that can keep it running for some hours, although you will probably find yourself looking for a place to charge it if you use it heavily. According to Nokia, the Nokia C2-01 has a reported 8.8 hours talk time and a 430 hs stand by time.
