Palm Pre Plus GSM is a low-end phone released back in 2010, packed with a little 3.1 inches multi touch capacitive screen and a 3 megapixels back-facing camera. But it's time to get into a bit more detail.
A good point of this phone is its quite large 16 GB internal memory and while it doesn't have an external memory slot, it is enough to install hundreds of games and apps, although it might not be suitable if you are fan of the heaviest games currently available.
This cellphone is a little thick for nowadays standards, with a thickness of 0.67". Palm forgot about weight optimization in this 4.89 oz phone, much heavier than other similar phones.
The Palm Pre Plus GSM only has a 3 mega-pixels back facing camera. It also captures videos in VGA 640x480. This camera also includes flash and geo tagging.
This phone has an average 3.1-inches display with a 480 x 320 resolution, which makes all images and videos look quite vivid. Its display uses TFT capacitive technology, and is multi-touch enabled.
The Palm Pre Plus GSM includes wifi connection (although it can't be provided to other devices acting as a modem) and fast 3G internet connection, over HSDPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This cellphone uses a SIM card for GSM connection.
This phone also comes with a handful of cool features as Bluetooth (provides communication with other devices, computers, and accessories) and GPS, and a couple sensors likeLight Sensor, Proximity Sensor and Accelerometer.
The Palm Pre Plus GSM has a 1150 mAh small sized Li-Ion removable battery that can keep this cellphone running for some hours, although you will find yourself looking for a place to charge it after some moderate use. Palm claims this phone has a 5 hours talk time and a 350 hours stand by time.
Palm is offering the Palm Pre Plus GSM for 90 dollars, which is not a really offer for a cellphone this level.
