Oppo made an excellent design job making this cellphone weight just 4.59 ounces. This cellphone is slim and practical, with a thickness of just 0.27 inches. The OPPO R1x is quite a compact device, taking into consideration it packs a 5" display and it only has 5.54" long. This cellphone is only for sale in color 16 777 216.
The OPPO R1x has a good looking 720 x 1280 (HD) 5-inches screen, giving this phone a detailed image quality.
This cellphone is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 8939 chip, backed up by an extremely powerful 1.5 GHz Octa-Core processing unit and a large 2 GB of RAM memory. A good advantage of the OPPO R1x is its quite big 16 GB internal storage and an SD card slot, allowing the user to store hundreds of applications without worrying about space.
The OPPO R1x features two cameras, a 13 MP back side camera and a 5 mega-pixels front facing camera. It also shoots videos in 1920x1080 (Full HD).
This phone comes with an amazing 2420 mAh Li - Polymer non-replaceable battery that can keep this phone running for many hours without having to charge it. An issue to consider is that this phone's battery isn't removable so you can't buy a new battery when it begins to last shorter, though with so much capacity you will probably buy a new cellphone before that becomes an issue.
The OPPO R1x offers wifi capability (although it can't provide it to other devices acting as a modem or router). This cellphone supports dual SIM cards so it is able to use two different phone lines or carriers at the same time.
This device also includes a few cool features as NFC (Near Field Communication), Bluetooth and GPS, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
Oppo is selling this device for $ 403, which is a high price for comparing with other similar devices.
