Plum Check Plus is a mid-to-low level cellphone, counting with a medium sized 4.5-inches multi-touch screen, a fast Dual-Core CPU ticking at 1.2 GHz, and two cameras, a 5 mega-pixels back-facing camera and a 2 MP front-facing camera. Let's take a better sight of what this device offers to us.

Plum decided to sell this cellphone with a powerful Dual-Core processing unit speeding at 1.2 gigahertz, bundled in a MediaTek MT6572M system chip and 512 MB RAM. To handle graphic calculations, this device also uses a 500 MHz ARM Mali-400 graphics processing unit. The Plum Check Plus counts with a moderate 4 GB internal memory, which is quite good considering it also has a slot for an external memory card to store songs, photographs and videos and even some games and apps that can be installed in the external memory.

Plum offers the Plum Check Plus in black and white. The Plum Check Plus feels a bit heavy for a cellphone this size, with a weight of 5.01 ounces. The Plum Check Plus is incredibly slim and practical, being just 0.36 inches thick. This device is a very compact device, considering it has a 4.5 inches display and it is only 5.12 inches long.

This cellphone is equipped with a good level 854 x 480 4.5" screen, which makes it hard to distinguish the pixels taking part of the screen. Its screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multi touch gestures.

This phone has two cameras, a 5 megapixels back camera and a 2 MP front camera. It can also shoot 1280x720 HD videos at 30 frames per second. Additionally, the camera includes many great characteristics: auto-focus, flash, smile detection shooting, face detection shooting, geo tagging and HDR mode.

The Plum Check Plus uses a 1500 mAh medium capacity Li-Ion battery, which is quite poor for a demanding phone like this. This phone has a reported stand by time of 750 hours and a talk time of 17 hours according to Plum.

The Plum Check Plus has wifi connection (which it can provide to other devices around, as a mobile hotspot), 4G (HSPA+) internet connection, which is not as fast as LTE networks and the fastest 3G internet connection, supported by HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This cellphone supports dual SIM cards so it is able to use two different phone lines and even different carriers at the same time.

This phone also features a few cool characteristics such as Bluetooth (for communication with other cellphones and accessories), GPS and Radio, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This cellphone is really overvalued considering it costs $ 249, while some similar devices are being sold much cheaper than that.
