Samsung Galaxy A3 Review

Samsung Galaxy A3 is a great phone released some years ago, in 2014, featuring a medium sized 4.5 inches multi touch display, a 64 bit Quad-Core CPU running at 1.2 GHz, an 8 MP back camera and a 5 MP front side camera.

This cellphone is much lighter than what you expect from a cellphone like this. Samsung made the Samsung Galaxy A3available just in many different color options: black, gray, pink, blue, white and gold. Although the A3 is only 5.12" long and 2.58 inches wide, it is able to fit a a 4.5 inches display. Being just 0.27" thick,the A3 is thin and good-looking. Talking about its construction quality, this cellphone is mostly created with Aluminium, which gives a premium feel and high resistance.

Samsung sells the Samsung Galaxy A3 with an exceptional 1.2 GHz Quad-Core 64 bits CPU, packed into the Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 8916 system chip and a great 1,5 GB RAM memory. To handle graphic rendering, this phone also counts with a 450 megahertz Adreno 306 GPU. A good advantage of this cellphone is the 16 GB quite big internal storage memory and an SD memory card expansion slot, enough to install hundreds of games and apps without any trouble.

This cellphone features two cameras, an 8 MP back facing camera and a 5 MP front camera. It is capable of filming Full HD 1920x1080 videos at 30 fps. This camera also counts with a few good features like flash, auto-focus, geo tagging and face detection shooting.

This phone is equipped with a good looking 4.5" display with a 960 x 540 resolution, giving this phone a detailed graphical experience. Its display uses Super AMOLED capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch gestures.

The A3 counts with a 1900 mAh medium sized non-replaceable battery providing this cellphone with a quite short battery duration. An important issue to take into account is that this cellphone's battery is non-replaceable so you can't change it when it begins to get older, having to buy a new cellphone to "solve it" or maybe take the cellphone to someone who can dismantle it and change its battery.

This device has WiFi connectivity (but it can't provide it to other devices around, acting as a hotspot), 4G LTE fast data connection and also HSPA+ data connection, a lower speed 4G variation and the fastest 3G data connection, over HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone works with a Nano SIM card to use GSM services.

This cellphone also comes with a few interesting features like NFC (Near Field Communication), Bluetooth (4.0) and GPS Geolocation, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This cellphone is being sold for about 245 dollars, not so cheap for a cellphone this level. This cellphone is probably the right one for you no matter if you will use this cellphone for work, need a cellphone for playing games, you love taking photographs or need a phone mostly for internet broswing and social networks.
