Samsung Galaxy Pocket 2 Review

Samsung Galaxy Pocket 2 is a mid-end Android phone, with a 1 gigahertz CPU, a medium sized 3.3-inches touch-screen and a 2 mega-pixels back side camera. But it's time to get into some more detail.

Samsung decided to equip the Samsung Galaxy Pocket 2 using a good performance processor clocking at 1 gigahertz and 512 MB of RAM memory. This cellphone counts with a 4 GB internal storage memory, an average amount that should be adequate for most users considering that this cellphone also has an SD memory slot to store photographs and videos and even some games and apps that allow being installed in the external memory.

This device's thickness (0.46 inches) is a little far from current standards, but it still feels fine in the user's hand. Samsung is offering the Pocket 2 in 2 color options, black and white. Samsung appears to have forgotten about weight optimization in this 3.77 ounces phone.

Samsung designed this phone with a low level 3.3 inches display, and a resolution of 320 x 240 (QVGA), giving this cellphone a low detail image quality. This display uses TFT capacitive technology, and has multi-touch detection.

This cellphone counts with wifi connectivity (although it can't provide it to other devices around, acting as a hotspot), HSPA+ 4G connectivity, that is not so fast as LTE-A or LTE 4G networks and 3G fast connection type, using HSDPA and EDGE technologies. This phone uses a Micro SIM card for GSM networks.

This phone also includes some interesting characteristics as Bluetooth (4.0) and GPS, and a couple sensors likeProximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

The Pocket 2 has a small 1200 mAh Li-Ion removable battery that can keep it running for many hours, although you will find yourself looking for a place to charge it even after moderate usage.

This phone is really overvalued considering it costs $ 109, while some similar phones cost a lot less than that.
