Videocon A23 is a not very powerful cellphone, equipped with a powerful Dual-Core processor speeding at 1000 megahertz, a 3.5 inches display, and two cameras, a 3 megapixels back camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front camera. Great! That's it? Not at all, it's just the starting point.
This cellphone is sold in three different color options, black, blue and white. The Videocon A23 isn't a compact cellphone, taking into account that it is 4.67 inches long and 2.4 inches wide,but it only contains a 3.5 inches display. The Videocon A23's thickness of 0.45" is a bit far from today's standards, but it still feels in the user's hand.
Videocon decided to power this phone with a good performance Dual-Core processor running at 1 gigahertz and as little as 256 MB RAM. This cellphone counts with a 524,29 MB internal storage, a little quantity that may be enough for some users considering that the Videocon A23 also has a slot for external memory cards to store songs, photos and videos.
This phone features two cameras, a 3 MP back camera and a 0.3 megapixels front camera. To complete the camera, it also has flash.
The Videocon A23 includes a nice 480 x 320 3.5-inches screen, giving this cellphone a decent graphic quality. This screen uses TFT capacitive technology, and has multi-touch detection.
This cellphone counts with a 1450 mAh medium sized Li-Ion removable battery that can keep this phone running for some hours, although you will need to charge it if you use it heavily.
This cellphone counts with Wi-Fi connectivity (but it can't share it with other devices acting as a wireless modem or router) and 3G internet connection, over UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone has dual sim to be able to to work with two different phone numbers or carriers in the same cellphone.
This cellphone also features a handful of nice features like Bluetooth (allows communication with other cellphones, computers and accessories) and GPS Navigation, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
The Videocon A23 is really overpriced considering it is offerred for $ 249, and other similar devices are being sold for much less than that.
