Videocon A42 Review

Videocon A42 is a mid level Android phone, which counts with a powerful 1200 megahertz Dual-Core processor, a medium sized 4.5" screen, and 2 cameras, a 5 MP back facing camera and a 1.3 mega-pixels front side camera.

Videocon is offering this cellphone in 2 color options, black and white. Although this cellphone is very thin and comfortable it's not even close to being one of the thinnest cellphones you can find, with a thickness of 0.43".

The Videocon A42 is equipped with a great performance Dual-Core CPU ticking at 1.2 GHz with 512 MB of RAM memory. This cellphone counts with a 4 GB internal storage, a reasonable amount that should be enough for the average user considering that this cellphone also has an SD extension slot .

This cellphone features two cameras, a 5 megapixels back-facing camera and a 1.3 mega-pixels front facing camera. In addition, the camera features flash and fast burst mode.

Videocon equipped the Videocon A42 with a good looking 4.5" screen, and a 854 x 480 resolution, which makes it hard to see the pixels in the screen.

This cellphone offers WiFi connectivity (although it can't provide it to other devices as a mobile mobile hotspot) and 3G internet connection, using UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone uses two SIM cards so it can to work with two different phone numbers and even different carriers in the same phone.

This cellphone uses a 1700 mAh medium capacity removable battery, which is quite low for a thirsty phone like this.

This cellphone is not very convinient considering it is offerred for $ 249, and other similar cellphones are offerred way cheaper than that.
