Videocon A53 Review

Videocon A53 is a decent quality Android device, counting with a Dual-Core processor ticking at 1.2 gigahertz, a quite big 5.3" multi-touch screen, and 2 cameras, an 8 mega-pixels back-facing camera and a 2 MP front side camera.

This cellphone's thickness , 0.4 inches, is a bit far from current standards, but it still feels in the user's hand. Even though this cellphone is only 5.96" long, it is able to fit a a 5.3 inches display. This phone is available in 2 colors, black and white.

Videocon designed the Videocon A53 with a nice 5.3" screen, and a resolution of 960 x 540 , which makes all photos and movies look very nice.

Videocon decided to equip this cellphone with a powerful 1.2 gigahertz Dual-Core CPU with 1 GB of RAM memory. The Videocon A53 counts with a medium 4 GB internal storage, which is fine considering this phone also has an SD card slot .

The Videocon A53 counts with Wi-Fi connectivity (although it can't be shared with other devices acting as a hotspot) and 3G internet connection, over UMTS and EDGE technologies. This cellphone has two SIM cards so it can to work with 2 different phone lines or carriers at the same time.

This phone features two cameras, an 8 megapixels back camera and a 2 megapixels front-facing camera. In addition, the camera counts with a couple of useful features: flash, auto-focus and HDR mode.

The Videocon A53 counts with a medium sized 1800 mAh battery that can keep this device running for many hours, although you will need to charge it even after moderate usage.

This cellphone also comes with some nice features such as Bluetooth (3.0) and GPS (Global Positioning System), and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

Videocon sells the Videocon A53 for $ 155, which is not a really offer for a cellphone this level.
