ZTE Blade Vec 3G Review

ZTE Blade Vec 3G is a good quality device, equipped with a great Quad-Core processing unit clocking at 1300 MHz, a quite big 5" touch-screen, and two cameras, an 8 mega-pixels back side camera and a 5 MP front-facing camera. But let's get into much more details.

This phone is available only in black color. The ZTE Blade Vec 3G is quite a compact phone, taking into consideration it has a 5" display and it's only 5.48 inches long. This device is incredibly thin and comfortable, with a thickness of just 0.31".

This phone has a very good 1280 x 720 (HD) 5-inches screen, making everything look very nice. Its screen uses LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.

ZTE decided to equip this device using a high speed 1300 MHz Quad-Core processing unit, packed into a MediaTek MT6582 chip with only 1 GB of RAM which is a little poor for such a solid phone. Graphic calculations generally consume lots of processing power, so it uses an extra ARM Mali-400 MP2 GPU speeding at 416 megahertz to improve overall performance. A nice aspect of this device is its big 8 GB internal storage and an external memory slot, which allows the user to store hundreds of applications and games without worrying about space.

This cellphone features two cameras, an 8 mega-pixels back side camera and a 5 megapixels front-facing camera. Additionally, this cellphone's camera also includes some good characteristics like auto-focus, flash, face detection shooting and geo tagging.

This phone uses amassive 2300 mAh Li-Ion removable battery, which isn't too much for a device like this.

This cellphone includes WiFi connection (which it can provide to other devices as a mobile hotspot), 4G HSPA+ data connection, which is not so fast as LTE-A or LTE networks and the fastest 3G connection type, supported by HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This cellphone uses a Micro SIM card for GSM services.

This phone also features a handful of nice characteristics like Bluetooth (4.0), GPS Localization and Radio, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

ZTE offers this phone for $ 249, which is not a really offer for a device this level.
