Acer Iconia Tab 8 Review

Acer Iconia Tab 8 is a decent quality Android tablet, having a quite big 8-inches capacitive display and a 1.33 gigahertz Quad-Core 64 bit CPU.

Acer decided to equip the Acer Iconia Tab 8 using an extremely powerful 64-bits Quad-Core processing unit clocking at 1330 megahertz, included in the Intel Atom chip with a great 2 GB of RAM memory. A nice feature of this device is its quite big 16 GB internal storage and an external memory slot, allowing you to store a couple hundred apps without any problem.

It seems like Acer forgot about optimizing the weight in this 12.7 ounces tablet device. The Acer Iconia Tab 8 is very slim and good-looking, being just 0.33 inches thick. The Acer Iconia Tab 8 is only 8.46 inches long and 5.12 inches wide, but it is still able to fit a a 8" screen.

This tablet doesn't have any cameras.

The Acer Iconia Tab 8 includes a very good 1920 x 1200 8" display, making everything look very nice. Its display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and has multi-touch detection.

This tablet features a 4600 mAh long lasting Li-Polymer replaceable battery that provides the Acer Iconia Tab 8 a great battery life.

The Acer Iconia Tab 8 features WiFi capability (although it can't be provided to other devices acting as a router or modem). This tablet doesn't use a sim card, because it doesn't work with GSM networks.

This tablet also features a handful of cool characteristics such as Bluetooth (4.0) and GPS (Global Positioning System), and some sensors likeLight Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This tablet is priced about $ 1049, expensive for a tablet device this level. This tablet is a great option no matter if you will use it as a gaming tablet or are looking for a work tablet device.
