Alcatel OneTouch PIXI 3 (8") is a not so powerful Android device, equipped with a pretty big 8" multi touch screen, an extremely powerful 1.3 GHz Dual-Core CPU, and two cameras, a 2 MP back facing camera and a 0.3 megapixels front camera. Alcatel decided to power this device with a high speed 1.3 GHz Dual-Core processing unit, included in the MediaTek MT8312 chip with only 1 GB of RAM memory which is a little bit low for such a solid tablet. Graphic rendering often consume lots of CPU cycles, so it uses an additional 500 megahertz ARM Mali-400 graphics processing unit to help handle those graphic tasks. The Alcatel OneTouch PIXI 3 (8") counts with a moderate 4 GB internal memory, which is enough for most users knowing that it also has an SD memory slot to store songs, photographs and videos.
It seems like Alcatel decided not to care much about the weight in this 11.82 ounces tablet. This tablet is incredibly thin and comfortable, with a thickness of just 0.36 inches.
