Barnes & Noble NOOK Tablet is a not very powerful Android device launched back in the year 2011, provisioned with a Dual-Core processor ticking at 1 gigahertz and a pretty big 7 inches multi-touch screen. But it's time to get into some more detail.
This tablet is equipped with a good performance Dual-Core processing unit clocking at 1000 MHz, included in the TI OMAP 4 chip with 1 GB RAM memory. A nice feature of this tablet is the 8 GB quite big internal memory and a slot for external memory cards, allowing you to store hundreds of apps without worrying about space.
It appears that Barnes & Noble didn't care much about the weight in this 14.1 oz portable tablet.

This device has a good level 7" display with a 600 x 1024 resolution, making everything look quite colorful and brightful. Its display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch gestures.
