HP Slate 7 Extreme Review

HP Slate 7 Extreme is a not so powerful Android tablet device, counting with a comfortable 7" display, a quite powerful megahertz Quad-Core CPU, a 5 MP back-facing camera and a 0.3 MP front side camera.

HP decided to build this tablet using a good Quad-Core CPU clocking at MHz, packed into the Nvidia Tegra 4 chip and 1 GB of RAM. This device comes with a 16 GB quite big internal storage and an external memory card slot, enough to install a couple hundred applications without any trouble.

HP didn't seem to put much effort to reduce weight in this 11.29 ounces portable tablet. The HP Slate 7 Extreme is just 0.37 inches thick, making it one of the thinnest portable tablets on sale.

HP equipped this tablet with a interesting 7-inches screen, and a 1280 x 800 resolution, which makes all pictures and videos look very good. Its screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch for gestures like pinch and zoom.

The HP Slate 7 Extreme features two cameras, a 5 mega-pixels back-facing camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front-facing camera. Additionally, this tablet's camera also has auto-focus and HDR mode.

The HP Slate 7 Extreme comes with an incredible 4100 mAh Li-Polymer removable battery, enough to provide this device with an amazing battery duration.

The HP Slate 7 Extreme offers wi-fi capability (but it can't be shared with other devices around, acting as a hotspot). This tablet doesn't have a SIM card, because it is not a GSM portable tablet.

This tablet also features a handful of interesting characteristics such as Bluetooth (provides communication with other devices, computers, and accessories) and GPS Navigation, and some sensors likeLight Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
