Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch Review

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch is a very solid tablet device released back in the year 2013, including a big size 10.1-inches display, a high performance Dual-Core processor running at 1.6 GHz, a 3 mega-pixels back side camera and a 1.3 megapixels front facing camera.

Samsung offers the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch in 2 color options: brown and white. Samsung did a very nice design job making this tablet as lightweight as 17.99 ounces. This tablet is just 0.31" thick, making it one of the thinnest tablets out there. This tablet only has 9.57" long and 6.93 inches wide, but it is still able to fit a a 10.1" display.

This tablet has a good level 10.1" screen with a 800 x 1280 resolution, providing this tablet with an average graphic quality. This screen uses TFT capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch gestures.

Samsung decided to sell this portable tablet with a Intel Atom chip, including an extremely powerful Dual-Core processor speeding at 1600 MHz with only 1 GB RAM which is a little disappointing for a tablet of this level. The Tab 3 10.1-inch counts with a impressive 32 GB internal storage memory and a slot for SD memory cards, enough to install lots of applications, games, songs, photos and videos without worrying about filling the tablet device.

The Tab 3 10.1-inch features two cameras, a 3 megapixels back camera and a 1.3 mega-pixels front camera. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch also films videos in HD 1280x720 at 30 fps. Additionally, this device's camera also counts with geo tagging.

The Tab 3 10.1-inch provides wi-fi connectivity (although it can't share it with other devices around, acting as a mobile hotspot), LTE 4G high performance connection and also HSPA+ connection type, a slower 4G network and the fastest 3G data connection, over HSDPA, HSUPA and EDGE technologies. This device uses a SIM card for GSM networks.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch also features a few nice features such as Infrared Transmitter, Bluetooth (4.0) and GPS, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This tablet features a big capacity 6800 mAh Li-Ion non-replaceable battery providing this tablet an incredibly long battery duration. An issue to take into account is that this tablet's battery is non-removable so you can't change it when it starts to lose its charge, while with so much capacity you will probably buy a new device before it becomes an issue.

This device is not a very good choice considering it is sold for $ 309, and many similar devices cost much less than that.
