The Samsung Galaxy M31 is better than vivo X70 Pro, with an 86.5 score against 78.3. Despite being the best phone in this review, it must be noted that it's also older, a little heavier and thicker. Both devices in this review work with the same Android 11 OS. Samsung Galaxy M31 has a bit sharper display than vivo X70 Pro, because although it has a little bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and a quite smaller display, it also counts with a bit more pixels per inch in the screen.
Vivo X70 Pro has just a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy M31, and although they both have the same number of cores, the vivo X70 Pro also has more RAM memory. The vivo X70 Pro features a quite bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy M31, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory.
Vivo X70 Pro's camera is very similar to the Galaxy M31 one, because although the vivo X70 Pro has a lot lower resolution back camera and a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, it also counts with a bigger aperture for better low light photos and videos and a bigger back-facing camera sensor which provides a better image and video quality.
The Galaxy M31 features longer battery lifetime than vivo X70 Pro, because it has a 6000mAh battery size instead of 4450mAh.
