Acer Liquid Z4 Review

Acer Liquid Z4 is a little outdated Android phone, provisioned with a 4" screen, an exceptional Dual-Core processor ticking at 1.3 gigahertz and a 5 MP back facing camera.

This phone is powered by a MediaTek MT6572 system chip, backed up by a high speed 1300 MHz Dual-Core processing unit with only 512 MB RAM memory which is a bit low comparing with its awesome CPU. To help with graphic calculations, this device also uses a Mali-400 GPU running at 500 MHz. The Acer Liquid Z4 has a 4 GB internal storage memory, a medium quantity that should be enough for the average user knowing that it also has an external SD slot to store songs, pictures and videos.

This phone is much lighter than what one would think about a phone of this size. Acer made this phone in two color options, black and white. This phone is just 0.38" thick, making it one of the thinnest devices out there.

The Acer Liquid Z4 only features a 5 MP back-facing camera. Additionally, the camera has auto-focus and flash.

Acer designed this phone with a very good 4-inches screen, and a 800 x 480 resolution, which makes it hard to see the pixels forming the screen. Its screen uses TFT capacitive technology, and can detect multi touch gestures.

This cellphone counts with wi-fi connection (although it can't be shared with other devices around, acting as a router), HSPA+ 4G connection type, which is not so fast as LTE-A or LTE networks and fast 3G internet connection, over HSDPA, HSUPA and EDGE technologies. This cellphone uses a SIM card to connect to GSM networks.

This phone also comes with a couple interesting characteristics such as Bluetooth (provides communication with other bluetooth phones, computers and accessories) and GPS, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

The Acer Liquid Z4 is being sold for about 200 dollars, which is not a really offer for a cellphone this level.
