Acer M900 Review

Acer M900 is a low end phone launched in February 2009, packed with a fast 533 MHz processing unit, a medium 3.8-inches screen and a 5 megapixels back facing camera. We will get a better idea about this cellphone's wonders when we get into more details.

This phone ships with a powerful CPU clocking at 533 megahertz with only 128 MB RAM memory.

It appears that Acer forgot about optimizing the weight, releasing a 6.63 oz heavyweight product. This phone is a little bit thick for nowadays standards, being as thick as 0.67".

This phone only has a 5 MP back facing camera. In addition, the camera has flash.

The Acer M900 has a good looking 800 x 480 3.8-inches screen, providing this cellphone with a very good graphic quality. This screen uses TFT resistive technology, but it can't detect multi touch gestures.

This phone has wifi capability (although it can't provide it to other devices acting as a modem) and the fastest 3G internet connection, over HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone works with a SIM card to use GSM services.

The Acer M900 also features a handful of nice characteristics as Bluetooth (2.0, EDR) and GPS Localization, and some sensors likeLight Sensor and Accelerometer.

This phone uses a mid capacity 1530 mAh Li-Ion removable battery that provides this cellphone a quite short battery duration. Acer afirms this cellphone has a talk time of 5 hours and a stand by time of 160 hours.

Acer is selling the Acer M900 for 649 dollars, which is very expensive for this type of cellphone.
