Alcatel OneTouch POP 2 (5) Review

Alcatel OneTouch POP 2 (5) is a quite good phone released some years ago, in 2015, having a pretty large 5-inches touch-screen, a 1.2 GHz Quad-Core 64 bits CPU, a 5 megapixels back camera and a 0.3 MP front facing camera.

This cellphone comes with a high-tech 64 bit Quad-Core processor speeding at 1.2 GHz, included in the Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 8916 system chip with only 1 GB RAM memory which is a bit disappointing for such a powerful cellphone. Graphic calculations generally consume lots of CPU processing time, so it has an additional 450 MHz Adreno 306 GPU to unload the CPU. The Alcatel OneTouch POP 2 (5) counts with a good 8 GB internal storage memory and an external memory card slot, allowing the user to store a couple hundred apps and games without running out of space.

This phone is only 5.55" long and 2.81 inches wide, but it is able to fit a a 5 inches display. This device is incredibly thin and practical, with a thickness of just 0.38 inches. This cellphone doesn't feel very lightweight comparing with today standards, with a weight of 6.14 oz. This phone has a 2500 mAh inmense removable battery, enough to provide this phone with an extremely long battery duration. This phone has an aproximate 12 hs talk time and a 500 hs stand by time according to Alcatel.

This cellphone also features a few interesting characteristics like NFC (Near Field Communication), Bluetooth and GPS Localization, and some sensors likeLight Sensor, Proximity Sensor and Accelerometer.

This device is priced around $ 199, which is a very high price for comparing with other similar phones. This cellphone is probably a great choice for you if you want a cellphone for work, want a phone to play games or want this phone majorly for social networks and internet browsing.
