ARCHOS 50 Titanium is a decently made phone, with a quite big 5-inches touch-screen, an extremely powerful 1300 megahertz Dual-Core processor, a 5 MP back camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front facing camera. We will get a better idea about this device's advantages when we get into more details.
Archos has made an excellent design job making this phone as lightweight as 5.64 oz. This phone is just 5.69 inches long and 2.9" wide, but it manages to hold a 5" screen. This device is very thin and stilized, being just 0.39" thick.
Archos decided to equip this device using a MediaTek MT6572 chip, holding a great Dual-Core CPU clocking at 1300 MHz with only 512 MB RAM memory which is a little disappointing for a phone of this level. Helping with graphic intensive applications and games, it also has a 500 MHz ARM Mali-400 GPU.
This cellphone includes a nice 5-inches screen with a 960 x 540 resolution, making everything look beautiful. This screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch gestures.
This phone has WiFi connectivity (and it can share it with other devices acting as a router), 4G HSPA+ internet connection, that is not as fast as LTE-A or LTE 4G networks and 3G fast data connection, supported by HSDPA, HSUPA and EDGE technologies. This cellphone comes with two SIM cards to be able to to work with two different phone numbers.
This phone has two cameras, a 5 MP back-facing camera and a 0.3 megapixels front side camera. It can also film HD 1280x720 videos. This camera also features flash and auto-focus.
This device has a great 2100 mAh removable battery providing this cellphone a good battery duration.
The ARCHOS 50 Titanium also includes a couple of interesting features like Bluetooth (3.0, EDR) and GPS, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
