BLU Life One Review

BLU Life One is a solid cellphone, with a quite big 5" multi touch screen, an exceptional 1.2 GHz Quad-Core processor, and 2 cameras, a 13 mega-pixels back facing camera and a 5 mega-pixels front side camera.

BLU did a very good design job making this device weight just 5.11 oz. This cellphone is only 5.67" long, but it still manages to hold a 5 inches display. Being just 0.35 inches thick,this cellphone is very slim and comfortable. BLU offers this phone in 2 color options, black and white.

The BLU Life One has a good level 1280 x 720 (HD) 5-inches screen, giving this cellphone a very good graphic quality. Its screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multi touch gestures.

This cellphone comes with an extremely powerful Quad-Core CPU speeding at 1200 megahertz, bundled in the Mediatek MT6589 system chip with only 1 GB of RAM which is a little poor for such a great cellphone. To handle graphic calculations, it also counts with a PowerVR SGX544 GPU running at 384 megahertz. The BLU Life One has anice 16 GB internal storage and an SD memory slot, enough to install hundreds of applications and games without running out of space.

This device is equipped with two cameras, a 13 megapixels back side camera and a 5 MP front facing camera. It is also able to film 1920x1080 Full HD videos at 30 frames per second. Additionally, the camera has a high number of great characteristics: auto-focus, flash, face detection shooting, digital image stabilization, smile detection shooting, geo tagging and HDR mode.

This cellphone features a 2000 mAh medium capacity Li-Ion removable battery, which is not really enough for a thirsty cellphone like this. This device has an aproximate stand by time of 850 hours and a talk time of 25 hours according to BLU.

The BLU Life One has Wi-Fi connection (which can be provided to other devices as a mobile hotspot), HSPA+ 4G internet connection, that is not as fast as LTE networks and the fastest 3G connectivity, using HSDPA and EDGE technologies. This cellphone uses 2 SIM cards so it's able to work with 2 different carriers or phone lines.

The BLU Life One also comes with some cool characteristics such as Bluetooth and GPS Localization, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This phone is being sold for about $ 179, a high price for comparing with other similar cellphones. If you want a social cellphone, you will probably be very satisfied with this cellphone.
