BLU Life View Review

BLU Life View is a little bit outdated Android device, counting with a high performance 1200 megahertz Quad-Core processing unit, a big size 5.7 inches multi-touch screen, and two cameras, a 12 megapixels back side camera and a 5 mega-pixels front camera. But let's get into some more details.

BLU decided to equip this cellphone with a great 1.2 GHz Quad-Core CPU, bundled in the Mediatek MT6589 chip and only 1 GB RAM memory which is a bit poor comparing with the BLU Life View's impressive processing power. Graphic intensive tasks usually uses lots of processor cycles, so it also counts with a PowerVR SGX544 graphics processing unit running at 384 megahertz to take care of them, leaving the processor free for other tasks. A nice advantage of this device is the 16 GB quite large internal storage memory and although it doesn't have an external memory slot, it should be enough to install hundreds of applications, although it might not be suitable if you are fan of the largest games currently available.

BLU made this phone in black and white. Being just 0.35" thick,this cellphone is incredibly thin and practical. This cellphone only has 6.34" long, but it manages to hold a 5.7 inches display. The BLU Life View is a bit heavy for a phone this size, with a weight of 7.76 oz.

This cellphone is equipped with a good level 1280 x 720 (HD) 5.7-inches display, making everything look colorful and brightful. Its display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.

The BLU Life View offers wi-fi connection (and it can be shared with other devices acting as a mobile hotspot), HSPA+ (4G) connection type, that is not so fast as LTE or LTE-A 4G networks and 3G fast connectivity, using HSDPA and EDGE technologies. This device supports dual SIM cards to be able to to work with two different phone numbers at the same time.

This cellphone has two cameras, a 12 MP back-facing camera and a 5 MP front camera. This cellphone can also film Full HD 1920x1080 videos at 30 frames per second. In addition, this phone's camera also features a high number of cool features: auto-focus, flash, digital image stabilization, face detection shooting, smile detection shooting, geo tagging and HDR mode.

The BLU Life View features a 2600 mAh long lasting Li-Ion removable battery providing the BLU Life View an amazing battery life. BLU says this phone has a 30 hours talk time and a 980 hours stand by time.

This phone also features a couple of interesting characteristics as Bluetooth (provides communication with other bluetooth devices, computers, and accessories) and GPS Localization, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This device is really expensive considering it is offerred for $ 338, while other similar phones are a lot cheaper than that.
