BLU Win HD Review

BLU Win HD is a decent phone, counting with a very powerful 1200 MHz Quad-Core processor, a comfortable 5 inches touch-screen, and 2 cameras, an 8 mega-pixels back-facing camera and a 2 megapixels front-facing camera. BLU decided to build this phone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 chip, including a high speed 1.2 GHz Quad-Core processing unit and only 1 GB of RAM memory which is a little bit poor for such a powerful device. Graphic calculations generally eats a lot of CPU time, so the BLU Win HD uses an Adreno 302 graphic processing unit running at 400 MHz to take some work out of the CPU. A nice point of this cellphone is the 8 GB quite large internal storage memory and an external memory card slot, enough to install a couple hundred apps and games without any problem.

This phone has a beautiful design, with a thickness of just 0.31". This cellphone is a compact phone, considering it has a 5 inches screen and it's only 5.7" long. The BLU Win HD is for sale in multiple colors like pink, orange, yellow, green and white. This device feels much lighter than what you would expect from a cellphone of this size.

BLU packed the BLU Win HD with a interesting 5" screen, and a resolution of 1280 x 720 (HD), which makes everything look colorful and brightful. Its screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, but it can't detect multi touch gestures.

The BLU Win HD provides Wi-Fi capability (and it can provide it to other devices as a mobile hotspot), HSPA+ 4G internet connection, which is not so fast as LTE-A or LTE 4G networks and fast 3G internet connection, over HSDPA and HSUPA technologies. This cellphone comes with 2 SIM cards so it can to use 2 different phone lines at the same time.

The BLU Win HD features two cameras, an 8 mega-pixels back camera and a 2 mega-pixels front facing camera. It can also film Full HD 1920x1080 videos at 30 frames per second. Additionally, the camera includes a few good features: flash, auto-focus, face detection shooting, geo tagging and HDR mode.

The BLU Win HD also features a few nice features like Bluetooth (3.0), GPS (Global Positioning System) and FM Radio, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

This device counts with a 2200 mAh long lasting Li-Ion removable battery that can keep this cellphone running for several hours, but you may need to charge it after some heavy use. BLU reports a 750 hs stand by time and a 23 hs talk time for this phone.

This phone is priced about 249 dollars, high for comparing with other similar phones.
