CAT S31 Review

CAT S31 is a nice Android cellphone launched in 2017, packing a great performance Quad-Core CPU ticking at 1.1 GHz, a medium sized 4.7" screen, and 2 cameras, an 8 megapixels back-facing camera and a 2 mega-pixels front-facing camera. We will get a better idea about this phone's specs when we get into deeper details.

Cat decided to build this phone using a Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 8909 system chip, packing a good performance Quad-Core processor clocking at 1.1 GHz and a great 2 GB RAM. The CAT S31 counts with a 16 GB interesting internal storage and an external SD slot, which allows the user to store hundreds of games and apps without worrying about space.

It seems like Cat decided not to care so much about the weight in this 7.05 oz cellphone. This phone is just available in 16 777 216 color.

This device is equipped with two cameras, an 8 megapixels back side camera and a 2 mega-pixels front-facing camera. This cellphone also shoots 1280x720 HD videos.

The CAT S31 has an amazing 720 x 1280 (HD) 4.7" display, providing this cellphone with a perfect graphical experience.

This phone packs an awesome 4000 mAh Li - Ion non-replaceable battery, enough to provide this phone with an extremely long battery life. An issue to take into account is that the CAT S31's battery isn't replaceable so you can't change it when it begins losing capacity, whereas with so much capacity you will probably buy a new phone before it becomes a real problem.

The CAT S31 counts with wifi capability (which can be shared with other devices around, as a mobile hotspot), 4G (LTE) fast data connection and the fastest 3G data connection, supported by HSPA and HSUPA technologies. The CAT S31 comes with two Nano SIM cards so it is able to work with two different phone numbers and even different carriers.

The CAT S31 also features a couple useful characteristics as Bluetooth (enables communication with other cellphones, computers and accessories), GPS Geolocation and FM Radio, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

The CAT S31 is really overvalued considering it is sold for 330 dollars, and some similar phones are a lot cheaper than that. If you want a cellphone to play games or want this phone mainly for internet broswing and social networks, you will definitely be very satisfied with it.
