Dell Venue Review

Dell Venue is a fair quality Android phone, equipped with an 8 MP back side camera, a 4.1 inches multi touch screen and a powerful 1000 megahertz processing unit.

Dell decided to power this cellphone with a Qualcomm MSM8250 chip, holding a quite powerful processing unit clocking at 1000 MHz. This cellphone comes with a small 1 GB internal storage memory, which might be enough for some users considering it also has an SD memory slot to store photos and videos.

This phone feels quite heavyweight comparing to other phones , with a weight of 5.78 ounces. This cellphone is a little thick for current standards, with a thickness of 0.51 inches.

This phone is only equipped with an 8 megapixels back facing camera. It also films videos up to 1280x720 (HD) at 20 fps. This camera also includes flash.

This device includes a nice 4.1 inches display with a 800 x 480 resolution, which makes everything look vivid. Its display uses AMOLED capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch for gestures like pinch and zoom.

The Dell Venue uses a 1400 mAh medium sized Li-Ion replaceable battery providing the Dell Venue with a quite short battery life.

The Dell Venue provides Wi-Fi connectivity (although it can't be shared with other devices around, acting as a hotspot) and 3G fast internet connection, using HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The Dell Venue works with a SIM card to connect to GSM networks.

This phone also comes with a few cool features such as Bluetooth (3.0) and GPS, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This device is not very convinient considering it costs 400 dollars, and many similar phones are being sold for much less than that.
