GIGABYTE GSmart Maya M1 Review

GIGABYTE GSmart Maya M1 is a fair quality Android device, packed with a 1 GHz Dual-Core processing unit, a medium sized 4.5" screen, and 2 cameras, an 8 mega-pixels back facing camera and a 2 mega-pixels front-facing camera. That's everything we have to say? No, it's only the beginning.

Gigabyte decided to design this phone using a great performance 1 GHz Dual-Core processor and 1 GB of RAM.

This phone is extremely thin and good-looking, with a thickness of just 0.38 inches. This time, it seems like Gigabyte didn't care about the weight in this 5.31 oz phone. This cellphone is available in three colors, black, red and white.

This device has a good looking 960 x 540 4.5" display, which makes everything look beautiful. This display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and is multi-touch enabled.

The GIGABYTE GSmart Maya M1 has two cameras, an 8 mega-pixels back facing camera and a 2 MP front camera. Additionally, the camera has flash and auto-focus.

This device comes with a medium 1700 mAh Li-Ion battery that provides this cellphone a not very long battery lifecompared to other phones. Gigabyte afirms this phone has a 300 hours stand by time and a 4 hs talk time.

This cellphone counts with Wi-Fi connectivity (but it can't provide it to other devices around, as a mobile hotspot) and 3G fast data connection, supported by HSDPA, HSUPA and EDGE technologies. The GIGABYTE GSmart Maya M1 supports dual sim so it can to use two different carriers or phone lines at the same time.

This phone also features a couple of cool features as Bluetooth (3.0), GPS Geolocation and FM Radio, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

Gigabyte offers this phone for 249 dollars, which is not cheap for comparing with other similar cellphones.
