Google Nexus S 4G is a solid phone launched in 2011, including a 4 inches screen, a fast processing unit ticking at 1000 MHz, a 5 megapixels back side camera and a 0.3 megapixels front side camera.
This phone isn't very light for a phone this size, with a weight of 4.6 ounces. The Google Nexus S 4G is slim and looks really nice, although it's not as slim as many other phones currently available, with a thickness of 0.44".
This cellphone has a good level 4-inches screen with a 800 x 480 resolution, which makes everything look very good. This screen uses Super AMOLED capacitive technology, and has multi-touch detection.
Google decided to equip this cellphone with a fast CPU ticking at 1 gigahertz, included in a Samsung Exynos 3 chip with 512 MB RAM. Graphic rendering often consume a lot of processor cycles, so the Google Nexus S 4G also has an additional PowerVR SGX540 GPU ticking at 200 megahertz to help with that calculations. The Google Nexus S 4G has a good 16 GB internal storage memory and although it doesn't count with an SD card slot, it is enough to store a couple hundred applications and games, although it may not be enough if you are planning to install a couple of the largest games currently available or taking tons of pictures and videos.
This phone has two cameras, a 5 MP back side camera and a 0.3 MP front-facing camera. The Google Nexus S 4G also shoots 720x480 videos at 30 fps. The camera also counts with auto-focus and flash.
This cellphone includes WiFi capability (and it can provide it to other devices around, as a mobile hotspot). This phone doesn't have a sim card, because it's not a GSM cellphone and it works in CDMA networks.
The Google Nexus S 4G also features some interesting features like NFC (to trigger actions, transfer data or make payments by holding your device close to another NFC device or tag), Bluetooth and GPS Geolocation, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.
The Google Nexus S 4G counts with a medium 1500 mAh Li-Ion battery that can keep this phone running for some hours, although you will probably need to charge it if you use it heavily.
Google sells this device for 550 dollars, which is a high price for this type of device. The Google Nexus S 4G is the correct choice it doesn't matter whether you are looking for a device for gaming or will use this cellphone mostly for internet broswing and social networks.
