HTC Sensation Review

HTC Sensation is a mid level Android cellphone released in April 2011, equipped with a 1200 megahertz Dual-Core CPU, a medium sized 4.3-inches multi-touch screen, an 8 mega-pixels back facing camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front-facing camera. Let's take a better sight of what this device has to offer.

The HTC Sensation is a bit heavy comparing with today standards, weighting 5.22 oz. The HTC Sensation is a very compact cellphone, taking into consideration it packs a 4.3" display and it is just 4.96 inches long. The HTC Sensation is quite slim and comfortable, although it's not as slim as many other cellphones out there, with a thickness of 0.44 inches.

The HTC Sensation is equipped with a good performance 1.2 GHz Dual-Core processor, bundled in the Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 MSM8260 system chip and 768 MB RAM memory.

HTC designed this phone with a good level 4.3 inches screen, and a resolution of 960 x 540 , which makes everything look vivid. This screen uses S-LCD capacitive technology, and is multi-touch enabled.

This cellphone counts with wi-fi connection (but it can't share it with other devices acting as a modem) and the fastest 3G connectivity, using HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The HTC Sensation works with a SIM card to connect to GSM networks.

This phone is equipped with two cameras, an 8 MP back facing camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front facing camera. It also captures videos up to 1920x1080 (Full HD) at 30 frames per second. The camera also counts with a couple of interesting characteristics like flash, auto-focus and geo tagging.

This phone has a mid capacity 1520 mAh Li-Ion removable battery providing this cellphone with a poor battery duration. According to HTC, the HTC Sensation has an aproximate stand by time of 350 hours and a talk time of 8.3 hs.

This phone also includes a few interesting characteristics like Bluetooth, GPS Geolocation and FM Radio, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

The HTC Sensation is very overpriced considering it is sold for $ 379, and some similar phones cost a lot less than that. If you need a cellphone to majorly use social networks, you will definitely be very satisfied with it.
