HTC Touch Pro2 US Review

HTC Touch Pro2 US is a mid level phone released back in 2009, equipped with a 3.2 mega-pixels back side camera, a good CPU clocking at 528 MHz and a 3.6" display.

This phone is a bit thick compared to current phones, being as thick as 0.68 inches. HTC didn't put much effort to reduce weight in this 6.61 oz phone, much heavier than other similar devices.

HTC ships this cellphone with a quite powerful processor running at 528 megahertz, bundled in a Qualcomm MSM7200A system chip and as little as 288 MB of RAM memory.

HTC equipped the HTC Touch Pro2 US with a good level 3.6-inches screen, and a resolution of 800 x 480 , giving this cellphone a good level graphic quality. This screen uses TFT resistive technology, but it can't detect multi touch gestures.

The HTC Touch Pro2 US is equipped with only a 3.2 megapixels back side camera. This phone also has auto-focus.

This cellphone includes wi-fi connectivity (although it can't be provided to other devices around, acting as a hotspot) and the fastest 3G connection type, supported by HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This cellphone uses a SIM card for GSM networks.

This device counts with a good 1500 mAh Li-Ion battery that provides this cellphone a not very long battery durationcompared to other cellphones. HTC claims this phone has a talk time of 8.5 hours and a stand by time of 500 hs.

The HTC Touch Pro2 US also includes a handful of interesting characteristics as Bluetooth (enables communication with other bluetooth phones, computers and accessories) and GPS (Global Positioning System), and some sensors likeLight Sensor and Accelerometer.

The HTC Touch Pro2 US is being sold for around 235 dollars, which is a really high price for this type of phone.
