HTC Arrive is a decent cellphone launched in 2011, equipped with a fast CPU running at 1 gigahertz, a 3.6" multi-touch screen and a 5 mega-pixels back side camera.
HTC didn't put much effort to reduce weight in this 6.49 oz cellphone, much heavier than other similar phones. This cellphone is a bit thick for today's standards, being as thick as 0.61".
HTC decided to sell this cellphone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 QSD8650 system chip, packing a good performance processing unit speeding at 1 GHz. To collaborate with graphic intensive apps, this cellphone also has an Adreno 200 GPU working at 128 megahertz. The HTC Arrive has a 16 GB quite large internal storage and though it doesn't have an SD memory slot, it is enough to store hundreds of games and applications, although it might not be enough if you are fan of the heaviest games currently available.
The HTC Arrive is equipped with only a 5 mega-pixels back side camera. This phone also captures 1280x720 HD videos. Additionally, this phone's camera also features flash and auto-focus.
HTC packed this cellphone with a good level 3.6" display, and a 800 x 480 resolution, which makes all images and videos look vivid.
This phone comes with a 1500 mAh mid capacity Li-Ion battery that provides the HTC Arrive a poor battery lifecompared to other cellphones.
This phone counts with wi-fi connection (but it can't be shared with other devices as a mobile mobile hotspot) and 3G connectivity, over EV-DO A technologies. The HTC Arrive doesn't have a SIM card, because it is not a GSM enabled cellphone and it can connect to CDMA carriers.
This phone also includes some cool features like Bluetooth (for communication with other cellphones, computers and accessories) and GPS Localization, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
The HTC Arrive is not very convinient considering it costs 220 dollars, while other similar phones are offerred way cheaper than that.
