LAVA Iris 502 Review

LAVA Iris 502 is a low level phone, provisioned with a 5-inches touch-screen, a great performance 1 gigahertz CPU, and two cameras, a 5 mega-pixels back-facing camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front camera. That's all? Not at all, it's only the beginning of a much deeper review.

Lava equipped the LAVA Iris 502 with a fast 1000 MHz processor and 512 MB of RAM memory.

This phone is sold in two color options, black and white. Whereas the LAVA Iris 502 is thin and comfortable it's not close to being one of the thinnest phones currently available, with a thickness of 0.4".

Lava packed this cellphone with an average 5 inches screen, and a resolution of 800 x 480 , providing this phone with a decent image quality.

This device counts with wifi connection (which can be provided to other devices acting as a mobile hotspot) and 3G fast connection type, supported by HSDPA, HSUPA and EDGE technologies. The LAVA Iris 502 supports dual sim to be able to to work with 2 different phone lines or carriers in the same cellphone.

This cellphone has two cameras, a 5 mega-pixels back side camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front camera. It can also capture videos in HD 1280x720. The camera also has a few useful characteristics like auto-focus, flash, digital image stabilization and face detection shooting.

The LAVA Iris 502 also features a couple nice features as Bluetooth (3.0), GPS and FM Radio, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

The LAVA Iris 502 packs a 2000 mAh medium capacity Li-Polymer removable battery that can keep this phone running for many hours, although you will need to charge it after some moderate use. According to Lava, this cellphone has an estimated stand by time of 400 hours and a talk time of 9 hours.
