LAVA Iris 504Q+ Review

LAVA Iris 504Q+ is a fair quality Android phone, packing a high-tech 1.3 GHz Quad-Core CPU, a pretty big 5" multi touch screen, a 10 mega-pixels back facing camera and a 2 megapixels front facing camera.

Lava has made a very good optimization job making the LAVA Iris 504Q+ as lightweight as 5.26 oz. This phone is for sale in 2 different colors, gray and white. This cellphone is extremely slim and good-looking, being just 0.31 inches thick. While this phone is only 5.78 inches long and 2.85 inches wide, it manages to hold a 5 inches display.

The LAVA Iris 504Q+ is equipped with a very good 5 inches screen with a 1280 x 720 (HD) resolution, which makes it hard to distinguish the pixels forming the screen. This screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.

Lava ships the LAVA Iris 504Q+ with an extremely powerful Quad-Core processor clocking at 1300 megahertz and only 1 GB of RAM memory which is a little disappointing considering its great processor. To collaborate with graphic rendering, it also has an ARM Mali-400 MP2 graphics processing unit ticking at 416 MHz. A nice advantage of the LAVA Iris 504Q+ is its quite big 8 GB internal storage memory and an external SD slot, allowing you to store hundreds of applications without any trouble.

This cellphone is equipped with two cameras, a 10 megapixels back camera and a 2 mega-pixels front-facing camera. In addition, this phone's camera also features a couple of nice characteristics: flash, auto-focus, HDR mode, face detection shooting and geo tagging.

This phone features Wi-Fi connection (but it can't be provided to other devices acting as a wireless router), 4G HSPA+ connectivity, that is not so fast as LTE-A or LTE 4G networks and fast 3G internet connection, using HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone uses two SIM cards so it can to use two different carriers or phone numbers in the same phone.

This cellphone also includes a couple of nice characteristics like Bluetooth, GPS Navigation and Radio, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This cellphone uses a 2000 mAh medium capacity Li-Polymer replaceable battery, which is not really enough for a demanding device like this.

This cellphone is priced $ 249, not a really offer for a cellphone this level.
