LG Apex Review

LG Apex is a mid-end Android phone released many years ago, having a powerful 600 MHz processor, a 3.2 inches multi-touch capacitive screen and a 3 MP back-facing camera.

LG decided to sell this phone with a quite powerful 600 megahertz CPU, bundled in a Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 MSM7627 chip and just 256 MB RAM memory. The LG Apex counts with a small 104,45 MB internal memory, which could be enough for basic users considering this phone also has an external memory card slot to store songs, photographs and videos.

The LG Apex is 4.56 inches long and 2.22" wide, but it is only able to pack a much smaller 3.2 inches screen. This phone is a bit thick for nowadays standards, being as thick as 0.62". This cellphone feels a bit heavy for a phone this size, with a weight of 5.57 ounces.

LG packed this cellphone with a interesting 3.2-inches screen, and a resolution of 800 x 480 , making everything look very good. Its screen uses TFT capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch gestures.

This phone is only equipped with a 3 mega-pixels back camera. This cellphone can also shoot videos up to 640x480 (VGA). This camera also includes flash.

This phone features a medium 1500 mAh Li-Ion replaceable battery that provides this cellphone a poor battery lifecompared to other cellphones. This cellphone has an estimated talk time of 7.5 hs and a stand by time of 500 hours according to LG.

The LG Apex includes WiFi connection (although it can't be provided to other devices as a mobile mobile hotspot) and 3G connectivity, over EV-DO A technologies. The LG Apex doesn't have a SIM card, because it isn't a GSM cellphone and it can connect to CDMA networks.

This phone also includes a few cool characteristics like Bluetooth (2.1, EDR) and GPS, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

LG is offering the LG Apex for 119 dollars, which is high for a cellphone this level.
