LG G Flex Review

LG G Flex is a very solid Android phone launched in October 2013, provisioned with a high-tech Quad-Core processing unit clocking at 2260 MHz, a really big 6 inches multi-touch display, and 2 cameras, a 13 mega-pixels back side camera and a 2.1 MP front side camera.

This phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 MSM8974 system chip, holding a high performance Quad-Core processing unit running at 2260 megahertz and a huge 2 GB of RAM. Graphic rendering usually uses a lot of CPU cycles, so it also counts with a 450 MHz Adreno 330 graphic processing unit to take care of them, leaving the CPU free for other tasks. The LG G Flex has a 32 GB excellent internal storage memory and although it doesn't include an SD memory card expansion slot, it is still enough to install tons of applications, games, songs, pictures and videos without worrying about how much storage capacity is left.

This phone is only available in color gray. The LG G Flex is just 0.31" thick, making it one of the thinnest devices nowadays. This phone is a very compact phone, considering it features a 6 inches display and it's only 6.32 inches long and 3.21 inches wide. This cellphone feels much lighter than what one would expect from a device this size.

This cellphone includes a very good 1280 x 720 (HD) 6" screen, giving this phone a detailed graphic quality. Its screen uses P-OLED capacitive technology, and has multi-touch detection.

The LG G Flex has WiFi capability (which can be shared with other devices around, acting as a mobile hotspot), 4G HSPA+ connectivity, which is not so fast as LTE networks and fast 3G data connection, over HSDPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This cellphone works with a Micro SIM card for GSM carriers.

This cellphone features two cameras, a 13 MP back-facing camera and a 2.1 MP front-facing camera. It also shoots Full HD 1920x1080 videos at 60 fps. The camera also counts with many useful features: auto-focus, flash, fast burst mode, smile detection shooting, face detection shooting, geo tagging and HDR mode.

The LG G Flex also comes with plenty of great characteristics such as NFC (Near Field Communication), Infrared Port, Bluetooth (4.0) and GPS (Global Positioning System), and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

The LG G Flex packs a 3500 mAh amazing Li-Polymer removable battery, enough to provide this cellphone with an extremely long battery duration. LG reports a 624 hours stand by time and a 19.4 hours talk time for this phone.

This cellphone is really expensive considering it is sold for 445 dollars, while other similar cellphones can be found for much less money.
