LG Optimus 4X HD is an amazing phone released many years ago, with a medium 4.7-inches display, a very fast Quad-Core CPU running at 1.5 GHz, an 8 megapixels back facing camera and a 1.3 megapixels front-facing camera.
The LG Optimus 4X HD is a bit heavy for a phone of this size, with a weight of 4.97 oz. This cellphone only has 5.21" long, but it's still able to fit a a 4.7" display. Being just 0.35 inches thick, this cellphone is incredibly thin and practical.
This phone has a completely amazing 4.7-inches display with a 1280 x 720 (HD) resolution, providing this cellphone with an amazing graphic quality. Its display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multi touch gestures.
This device is equipped with a high speed Quad-Core CPU ticking at 1500 megahertz, packed into the NVIDIA Tegra 3 T30 chip with only 1 GB of RAM memory which is a bit poor for such a great phone. Graphic calculations usually uses lots of CPU cycles, so it also has a ULP GeForce graphics processing unit running at 520 MHz to help with that calculations. The LG Optimus 4X HD comes with an interesting 16 GB internal storage memory and a slot for an external memory card, which allows you to install hundreds of applications and games without running out of space.
This cellphone features two cameras, an 8 MP back-facing camera and a 1.3 mega-pixels front side camera. It is also able to film videos in 1920x1080 (Full HD) at 30 fps. To complete the camera, it also has a few nice characteristics: auto-focus, flash and geo tagging.
This phone features a high capacity 2150 mAh Li-Ion replaceable battery, which isn't very promising for a phone like this. This phone has an estimated 9.4 hs talk time and a 731 hours stand by time.
This cellphone counts with wifi connectivity (and it can provide it to other devices around, acting as a modem), 4G (HSPA+) internet connection, that is not so fast as LTE-A or LTE 4G networks and fast 3G data connection, using HSDPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This device uses a SIM card for GSM networks.
This cellphone also includes some nice characteristics such as NFC (to trigger actions, transfer data or make payments by holding your cellphone close to another NFC device or tag), Bluetooth (allows communication with other devices, computers, and accessories) and GPS Localization, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.
This phone costs around 399 dollars, which is not a really offer for a phone this level. It doesn't matter whether you you love taking photos, need a work device, want it mainly for social networks or will use it to play games, you will probably love this cellphone.
