LG Optimus LTE Review

LG Optimus LTE is an interesting phone released in October 2011, packed with a 4.5" display, a powerful Dual-Core CPU clocking at 1500 MHz, and two cameras, an 8 mega-pixels back side camera and a 1.3 mega-pixels front camera.

LG decided to build the LG Optimus LTE using a Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 APQ8060 chip, holding a good performance 1500 megahertz Dual-Core processing unit with 1 GB RAM memory. This cellphone comes with a 4 GB internal memory, a reasonable amount that should be enough for the vast majority of users considering that this cellphone also has a slot for SD memory cards to store photos and videos and even some games and apps that allow external memory installation.

LG made an excellent job making the LG Optimus LTE as lightweight as 4.76 ounces. LG just sells the LG Optimus LTE in black color. This phone is quite thin and looks really nice, even though it's not close to being one of the thinnest cellphones out there, with a thickness of 0.41 inches.

The LG Optimus LTE is equipped with a great 1280 x 720 (HD) 4.5 inches screen, giving this device a high level graphical experience. This screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and has multi-touch detection.

The LG Optimus LTE has two cameras, an 8 megapixels back-facing camera and a 1.3 megapixels front camera. It is also able to shoot 1920x1080 Full HD videos. To complete the camera, it also counts with some interesting features like flash, geo tagging and auto-focus.

This cellphone includes Wi-Fi capability (which can be provided to other devices around, as a mobile hotspot), 4G LTE fast connection and also HSPA+ internet connection, a lower speed 4G type and the fastest 3G connectivity, supported by HSDPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone works with a SIM card for GSM networks.

This phone comes with a 1830 mAh medium capacity Li-Ion battery that provides this device a poor battery life comparing with other similar cellphones. This cellphone has an aproximate 240 hours stand by time and a 4.2 hours talk time according to LG.

This cellphone also features a couple of cool features like Bluetooth (3.0), GPS and TV Reception, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

LG offers this device for 400 dollars, which is very expensive for a phone this level. No matter if you want a device for work, need a phone to play lots of games or want a device mostly for internet broswing and social networks, this cellphone is the correct option .
