LG Optimus Zone Review

LG Optimus Zone is a fair quality Android cellphone, packing a 3.2 inches capacitive screen, a 3.2 megapixels back camera and a fast 800 MHz processing unit. That's all? No, it's just the shortest summary on earth.

LG ships this device with a powerful 800 megahertz CPU, included in the Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 system chip and 512 MB of RAM memory. The LG Optimus Zone counts with a 4 GB internal storage, a common quantity that should be considering it also has an external memory slot .

The LG Optimus Zone doesn't feel very lightweight comparing with today standards, with a weight of 3.88 ounces.

This device includes a low level 3.2 inches screen with a 320 x 240 (QVGA) resolution, making everything in the screen lose details and definition. Its screen uses TFT capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.

The LG Optimus Zone counts with WiFi connectivity (but it can't be provided to other devices acting as a hotspot) and 3G connection type, over EV-DO A technologies. This phone doesn't use a SIM card, because it doesn't support GSM services and it can connect to CDMA networks.

This phone has a medium capacity 1540 mAh Li-Ion replaceable battery that can keep it running for some hours, although you will need to charge it even after moderate use. LG informs a 264 hs stand by time and a 10 hs talk time for this cellphone.

LG sells the LG Optimus Zone for 90 dollars, which is not cheap for this type of device.
